Who Am I?

I am completely passionate about and enthralled with learning.  I am a life-long learner and I believe that the best way to learn is to teach.  As such, I have made teaching others through training, coaching and Rapid Transformational Therapy my wonderfully fulfilling career and I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that this was, is and will always be my purpose in life.

As an avid learner about all things in life, I have learnt through my own personal journey about how to navigate difficulties, childhood trauma, limitations, limiting beliefs, challenges in the various developmental stages of life and insecurities in my abilities as a parent, wife and career woman. I am still learning and will always be learning and this is a gift. I am not a big advocate for perfection as I truly believe that striving for perfection can be limiting rather than liberating. So truthfully, I stand for being the very best version of myself and being entirely comfortable in my authenticity.

I am a very proud mother to my teenage son Kyle and my two dogs – Chloe and Bridget. All three of my children bring me so much joy and deep contentment and of course the odd couple of moments of angst, concern and reprimand. The authentic me is also a wife to the most loyal husband, Antony who accepts me for all that I am, including all my idiosyncrasies. I am a family person, first and foremost. I love and cherish my family, both immediate and extended, both nearby and far away and I am eternally grateful for all the special moments, lessons learnt, guidance, wisdom and support that I have received from my family and will continue to receive. Yes, we have had our hiccups and our more serious challenges, as any family do, however I wouldn’t change a thing and value them immensely. I am also a fiercely loyal friend and strongly believe in real, honest, gutsy relationships. I truly treasure all of my friendships and am forever thankful for their support in my life.

I count my blessings each day that I get to do what I love and what I am passionate about. I have always instilled this in my son too, to do what you love and to do what gives you purpose and meaning. I knew from a very early age that I wanted to study psychology and as such I completed my BA through the University of South Africa and then went onto the University of Johannesburg, completing my Honours and Master’s Degrees in Psychology. I then became a registered Skills Development Facilitator and a registered Assessor of Training as well as a registered Moderator. Following this, I felt a calling to become a qualified Life and Business coach and so I qualified with New Insights in these areas. Through many years of training, facilitating and coaching and with all my knowledge and understanding of various psychology theories and approaches I still experienced, with my clients, some contentious and stubborn stumbling blocks and some serious blocks to growth and progression. This fuelled my drive to research, investigate and find supplementary and complimentary options that would provide my clients with the freedom, they so needed. I found these options and solutions in Rapid Transformational Therapy – an incredible hybrid therapy, fine-tuned by world renowned therapist Marisa Peer. I decided to diligently commit to qualifying as a Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) Practitioner. As a fully qualified RTT practitioner I am able to help clients with a multi-tiered approach that expedites phenomenal results.

I look forward to working with you.
